CLASS : ADVANCED WHEEL : Developing Your Personal Ceramic Style (adult, 8 students, 10 weeks) $365, Thursday, 6 - 8:30 pm
ADVANCED WHEEL : Developing Your Personal Ceramic Style
Students in this class will learn how to develop their own personal style and voice as a ceramic artist through one on one meetings with instructor and dialogue with their class peers (small scale crits). The instructor will conduct several demonstrations and topics dependent on the group's collective needs.
Students must have experience working with clay for at least a year before taking this class. The class is designed to meet the student where they are and challenge them further to identify and execute the work the student wants to make. Be ready to engage in a rich ten-week discussion centered around all things clay. Sketchbooks highly recommended!
SPECIAL NOTE: This is a small format class - max of 8 students for more intensive instruction - with specific session dates.
Includes 25 lbs clay, all tools, one personal 12" x 36" shelf, glazes, oxide washes and bisque and glaze firings. Students who use large amounts of clay may incur additional firing charges.
