One on One Design Projects for Handbuilding with Ara Koh: Monday or Saturday (10 weeks, 7 students, $360)
This 10 week journey is a project-based exploration that merges traditional handbuilding skills in your own visual language.
Every student will be making different thing in this class. Each student is highly encouraged to bring their own idea of items or ideas they want to create. You bring your idea, and the instructor will help your vision come alive in clay.
Or the instructor will give you prompts to start a new project as well. Throughout the class, new technical skills, the ability to create larger and more complex handbuilt objects and new project design skills will be earned.
Previous experience working with clay is not required, and students will be working on a one-on-one with the instructor on their own project depending on their skill level.
