Handbuilding CAMP CLAY: WEEK 1 (July 18-22 9am-3pm) Week 2 (July 25-29 9am-3pm) HANDBUILDING FUN For KIDS AGES 8-12
Give the your kids the gift of clay this summer and perhaps send them on a lifetime adventure! During this one week camp, your kids will learn each of the fundamental techniques for making beautiful ware from clay. Kids will explore handbuilding with clay: coil building, pinch pots to slab built ware, from glazing to decorating techniques, each day will be an exploration into a new type of ceramic construction.
Each day will include additional fun activities - nature hikes, tie dye shirts, collective games, guest artists & more!
Ages 8-12. Fees include instruction, clay, glazes, tools and bisque and clay firing. Snacks provided; each child should bring a bag lunch.
Maximum of 8 students in this clay intensive.
Ware can be picked up three weeks after the class ends.
