KIDS : Handbuilding Projects Monday afternoons, 2 hrs
A wonderful class for kids interested in making all kinds of clay ware art but perhaps not old enough to handle a studio wheel, KIDS HANDBUILDING is the perfect place to start. Children will learn and develop a set of handbuilding skills over the course of six weeks. These include: pinching, coil building, and slab construction. They will also learn to decorate their projects by stamping, carving, and painting colored underglazes.
Pieces may be picked up a week after the class ends.
Classes are held Mondays from 4:15-6:15 pm. Parents who participate in the class with their kids must also register as participants. Ages 6 and older. Please note, this class has set dates:
- early spring dates : 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/1
- late spring dates : 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 6/3
