Trimming rules . . . . so come learn Sam's "rules for great trimming." Good trimming means good pots; bad trimming means pots that can be too heavy or even too thin for their size and weight. Your pot's foot starts it all off - it supports your piece of ware and is the springboard that can make your pot fly. But, like walls, feet are often mismatched for the shape and design of your pot. Learn how to trim like a pro and design feet that are perfect for your pot.
(If you are brand new to the wheel, this is NOT the class for you. Try a "one shot" instead.)
Limit of 10 students. Bring several leather hard pots to work on. Advanced students should bring several pieces that are the same shape to try out different feet on each. Snacks, beer and wine included.
