DCC's Associate Artist Program is a step up from the Community Artist Program that provides artists with two 18" x 48" shelves (or the spatial equivalent).  

We have 6 Associate Artists.  

District Clay is currently at capacity for our Associate Artists, so interested candidates are encouraged to apply to our Community Artist program instead.

Associate Artists receive 2 horizontal shelves, pictured to the left, or they may split a stack of 4 vertical shelves in half with another artist. Table space is available for the artists to share, along with all of DCC's other amenities.

Costs

• Monthly cost: $256 plus clay (if purchased through the studio) and glaze firing fees.
• ​We will fire your work, or you can schedule the test kiln to fire it yourself.

  • During scheduled classes, extra wheels are available for your use.​
  • ​You will need to attend a one-hour orientation.
  • You will be asked to read and sign a Guidelines and Procedures manual and a Holds Harmless form.
  • Minimum three-month commitment, one month's security deposit required.
