Other Ceramic Amenities
- 15 plus cone 10 reduction glazes and 12 cone six oxidation glazes. Glaze tile boards. Slips, oxide washes and underglazes also available.
- 5 Great Pots and Great Cups cabinets that display work by national ceramic artists. Students are encouraged to use this amazing ware to learn new techniques and design skills.
- Critiques and interactions as part of an Artist in Residence program that brings emerging ceramic artists to the District Clay for 3-6 month time periods.
- 10% reduced fees on District Clay workshops & pre-registration opportunities for current DCC students.
- A ceramic lending library with over 500 books and DVDs. Current students may check out materials for two week time periods. Subscriptions to Ceramics Monthly, Clay Times, Pottery Making Illustrated, Ceramic Review and the Studio Potter magazines.
District Clay Gallery
- 500 square foot gallery featuring national, regional and local artists.
- Special exhibits juried by nationally recognized figure(s) with at least two per year featuring political themes.
- Available for private receptions.
