About classes at District Clay Center:
  • Our kids classes have a max of 8 students.
  • Wondering what you'll get out of a pottery class?  Check out this page.  (HINT:  It's not just about making cool things with your own hands.  Pottery also offers a new community of like-minded artists plus a refuge from our all too hurried world.)
  • We supply all the tools you need to make great pots.  You can also bring your own tools or, if you wish, you purchase an excellent beginner 8 piece tool kit by Kemper Tools when you get to District Clay ($20).
  • We also provide 25 lbs of clay.  Please note - use of non-DCC clay is NOT allowed.
  • We also have a Student Resource Section that includes DCC Learning Aids as well as other resources.  Whether you are brand new to clay or have taken classes already, we want to help you get better and better.
