District Clay Center has created a new safe and secure place to play with clay and has re-opened for in person classes. Our wheels and work spaces are now socially distanced, we have staggered our class times and set new safety guidelines and clean-up and disinfectant protocols. The air in our wheel rooms is purified to 99.97% with large hanging HEPA filters. To see more of the changes we have made, please go here.

We are also offering interactive online classes from home. All you need is a ZOOM account and we supply the rest, including clay, glazes and firing.
For people who want to work independently from home, we also have a Clay from Home program available.
You can sign up for any class now and our membership department will contact you to set a date for starting your class. Classes have rolling admission.
About classes at District Clay Center:
Our New Terms: We have changed our terms to adapt to shifting COVID-19 situation. First time students may get a full refund after their initial visit if they do not feel comfortable. If you notify us by your third visit, you can get a 50% refund. If you need to self-quarantine, you can suspend classes for two weeks at no charge. If you become sick and need more than two weeks, you can suspend any remaining classes and we will send you a credit you can use for up to two years. Finally, if the virus resurges and District Clay must close, your classes will be suspended and you can restart when we re-open or we will give you a credit you can use at a later date.

- Our classes have between 8 and 12 students each and fees are structured accordingly. Wheels are generously spread out.
- We also have a Student Resource Section that includes DCC Learning Aids as well as other resources. Whether you are brand new to clay or have taken classes already, we want to help you get better and better.
