Clay for Home Program!
To try out our new Clay for Home program! This program is for people who prefer to work on clay projects from home and want access to District Clay's glazes and kilns.
It's simple: you purchase 25 lbs of clay and we send you an instruction sheet on how to set up a home studio as well as links to helpful You Tube videos on creating fun clay projects. Your home becomes your new Creativity Incubator.
When you're ready, you drop off work at District Clay to be bisque and glaze fired. You can also come in and use District Clay glazes (or you can use appropriate commercial glazes.) You can access District Clay from 10-8 pm, Mon-Friday and weekends from 10-5 pm.
That said, we hope this will help you SEIZE THE CLAY from home.
PS: if you would like online instruction from your home studio, we also offer online classes. To see a list of in person classes at District Clay, pls go here.

- Important Note: this program is NOT for people who are brand new to clay. Previous clay experience is required - you need to know proper glazing techniques as well as an understanding about appropriate ware thickness. Pots which are improperly glazed or too thick or too fragile may not make it into the kiln.
