Glaze Training for Online Students: 1 hour, various dates
Online students who are new to clay must attend a 1 hour glaze training class in a socially distanced class room hosted by DCC teacher, Jenny Beech. Maximum of 4 students per class.
During this class, you will learn how to properly wax and glaze your work while also reviewing District Clay's Cone 6 and Cone 10 glazes. If you wish, you may glaze your pieces during the class and drop them off to be fired or stay after class to glaze.
This class will take up to one hour but may be quicker depending on how much work you have to glaze. You are also welcome to take the class and glaze at another time.
This class is mandatory for students who have not glazed before but is also available as a refresher course for any online student, regardless of experience level.
